Senior Data Informatics Analyst (Power BI)

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $92,200–$115,300 per year.

What you will do

• Build, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
• Design and optimize semantic data models, data flows, and relational schemas using Power Query and DAX.
• Write Python scripts for data cleaning, preprocessing, API integrations, and task automation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other business teams to define requirements and translate operational needs into KPIs.
• Troubleshoot refresh issues, optimize DAX performance, and maintain data accuracy and security compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field plus 8 or more years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 6 or more years.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, data models, and published reports.
• At least 2 years of experience using Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, or requests.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
• Deep understanding of DAX and data transformation workflows.
• Ability to convert large volumes of raw data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Must be a U.S. citizen. Eligibility for a government security investigation and access to classified information is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
