Business Intelligence Analyst

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance business intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from data warehouses and data lakehouses to identify meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure suitable data sources and optimize data strategies for data-driven decisions.
• Create recurring dashboards and reports for internal and external clients and recommend improvements to management and executives.
• Create training curricula for internal and external clients using business intelligence tools.
• Manage multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadlines, while maintaining documentation for data models and report definitions.

Requirements

• Strong experience building reports and dashboards with Power BI and DAX.
• Strong presentation and data visualization skills.
• Strong T-SQL or ANSI SQL skills, including queries of varying complexity.
• Experience with Power Query or Power BI Dataflows, SSRS, SSAS, or Power BI Paginated Reports.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with Power Automate.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and VBA.
• Proven ability to use data and analytics to solve complex problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Knowledge or experience with Python or R.
