BI & Analytics Manager (Power BI)

Location: Remote; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The position can also be located anywhere in the United States and requires travel.

Salary: $102,000–$120,000.

What you will do

• Lead BI delivery, platform initiatives, dashboard development, reporting, data assessments, and governance for clients and service lines.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and repeatable standards for BI analysts and account teams.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, analytics strategies, roadmaps, expectations, risks, and outcomes.
• Partner with platform, solutions, development, and client technology teams on dashboard prototypes, tabular models, product enhancements, and enterprise data platforms.
• Manage data mapping, intake and backlog processes, data dictionaries, report inventories, and development workflows.
• Improve data automation, standardization, quality, Power BI performance, metric consistency, documentation, and analytical delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience leading or managing analytics, BI, or data teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder management experience.
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
• Experience with data mapping, data modeling, and analytics solution design.
• High critical thinking, sound judgment, analytical curiosity, and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work confidently in ambiguous, fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Power BI, including data modeling and semantic layer design.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with ETL and data preparation tools such as Alteryx.
• Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms.
• Experience contributing to a BI product team or analytics platform initiative.
• Exposure to commercial real estate or portfolio-level data.
