Training Manager

Location: Mapleton, Illinois; onsite five days a week. The role supports both the Mapleton, Illinois, and Hodges, South Carolina, foundries. Domestic relocation is available for qualified candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year.

What you will do

• Lead a training and development team of 5+ professionals across two foundry sites.
• Oversee operations development and support onboarding and ongoing training for approximately 1,200 employees.
• Partner with facility leadership and Human Resources leaders to design and deploy operations training aligned with strategic goals.
• Design, implement, and manage talent programs to develop and retain employees using enterprise standards adapted to operational needs.
• Evaluate curricula, learning solutions, and talent practices, recommending improvements to quality, cost, effectiveness, and value.
• Manage vendors, technology solutions, and resources to deliver learning objectives.

Requirements

• Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies and the ability to ensure target populations gain the skills required for tactical and strategic objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities and prioritize time effectively.
• Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
• Knowledge of data-gathering and reporting tools, techniques, and processes.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques, with the ability to accurately transmit, receive, and interpret information and needs.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Mapleton, Illinois.
