Training Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing facility role with occasional travel for training-related activities.

Salary: $59,400–$81,700 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Coordinate and schedule technical skills, safety, compliance, and new-hire onboarding training.
• Work with department supervisors, managers, trainers, and subject matter experts to identify needs and align programs with organizational goals.
• Manage training logistics, including rooms, materials, equipment, schedules, communications, and session support.
• Maintain attendance, completion, evaluation, and compliance records in an LMS or other tracking tools; follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Develop and distribute training materials, support local tools such as Alchemy, Teamwork, and Redzone, and troubleshoot technical issues during sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, compile feedback and performance data, support process improvements, and provide administrative support to the Training Manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in training coordination or human resources.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning management systems or other training software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Customer service orientation, proactive support for internal stakeholders, adaptability, and flexibility when priorities change.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, personal development, and learning new skills and technologies.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods and lift and carry training materials and equipment as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish, Vietnamese, or another language.
