Project Manager - Generator Service (Manufacturing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; customer and factory site meetings required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate generator service projects, major sub-components, and full generator replacements to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate technical requirements, resources, software deliverables, and hardware deliverables with internal teams and regional project managers.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers and support customer meetings and Customer Witness activities.
• Prepare project reports covering performance, financial status, risks, costs, scope, and schedules.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate additional scope, create change requests and notices, and execute approved change orders.
• Escalate nonconforming products or services and advise management and business partners on technical matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a non-technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Generator Product or Manufacturing.
• 1–3 years of experience with MS Project or an equivalent tool.
• Strong work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality results on time with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• PM@Siemens or PMI Certification.
• 1–3 years of SAP experience.
