IT Project Manager (ERP)

Location: Greenville, NC, United States; the role can also be based in Knoxville, TN, Temple, GA, or Abbeville, SC.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end enterprise ERP implementation, upgrade, migration, consolidation, and digital transformation programs.
• Manage integrated plans, schedules, budgets, resources, governance, steering committees, executive dashboards, RAID logs, and portfolio reporting.
• Coordinate ERP activities for acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, TSA execution, Day 1 readiness, separation planning, data migration, cutovers, and hypercare.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Quality, Customer Service, Warehouse Management, Reporting & Analytics, and other business functions.
• Manage system integrators, ERP partners, software vendors, infrastructure providers, and managed service providers, including SOWs, budgets, deliverables, risks, and contracts.
• Identify and mitigate risks involving data migration, integrations, security, infrastructure readiness, organizational change, business continuity, cutover, and production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience and 7+ years leading enterprise ERP implementations.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $1MM, global ERP programs, and cross-functional teams of 25–100+ members.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Clarity, or similar project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of ERP implementations involving SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, Epicor ERP or Kinetic, and/or Infor Syteline (CSI).
• Leadership capability in executive communication, strategic thinking, influencing without authority, decision-making, financial acumen, conflict resolution, negotiation, change leadership, coaching, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, ETL/data migration, Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, SQL Server, Oracle Database, manufacturing systems, MES, PLM, CRM, Business Intelligence, and Power BI.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial technology, aerospace and defence, distribution, supply chain, multi-site operations, or global organizations.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, SAP Project Management, Prosci Change Management, or ITIL Foundation certification.
