Architectural Designer

Location: Hybrid; in-person work at the Baltimore (Linthicum), Maryland office three days per week. Approximately 20% travel is expected based on project needs. U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. residency is required.

Salary: $74,000–$98,000 annually.

What you will do

• Participate in all architectural design phases, from concept and programming through construction documentation and administration.
• Document existing conditions and develop drawings, details, specifications, presentations, renderings, and technical documentation.
• Use Revit and related design tools to support projects across infrastructure, aviation, state and municipal, transit, commercial, and federal sectors.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, planners, consultants, clients, and other multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Coordinate consultants and integrate building systems into project designs.
• Support client meetings, proposals, design reviews, quality assurance, quality control, and compliance with codes and standards.

Requirements

• BS/BA, Bachelor of Architecture, MS/MA Architecture, or another relevant design degree.
• At least 4 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related architectural design software.
• Proficiency with graphics and rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, SketchUp, Adobe, or Rhino.
• Knowledge of building systems, construction documentation, consultant coordination, building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and production management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented and diverse multidisciplinary teams.
