Supply Chain Product Line Lead

Location: Onsite in East Aurora/Buffalo, New York, United States.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Specialists through expectations, feedback, mentorship, and professional growth.
• Act as the primary escalation point between Supply Chain Procurement and Operations for assigned value streams.
• Oversee purchase order placement, supplier coordination, delivery performance, expedites, delays, non-conformances, and past-due orders.
• Maintain part-specific procurement strategies and DDMRP parameters, including buffer types, minimum order quantities, and safety stock.
• Plan capacity and distribute workload across Supply Specialists while participating in daily, weekly, and tiered accountability meetings.
• Lead cross-functional teams implementing internal and external supply chain process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline, such as Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
• At least five years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering, including two years influencing and leading cross-functional teams within Supply Chain or Operations.
• Deep knowledge of MBS and/or SAP modules and transactions covering planning, purchase order placement, maintenance, and inventory.
• Experience managing and resolving escalations and maintaining positive supplier and customer relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using continuous improvement tools such as 5Y, A3, and 8D.
• Excellent internal and external communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% to suppliers and/or other hirify.global sites.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
