MRO Commodity Manager

What you will do

• Develop and execute MRO sourcing strategies to reduce costs, standardize procurement, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support regional and global initiatives.
• Lead supplier management activities, including performance reviews, KPI tracking, continuous improvement, and resolution of supply, quality, and commercial issues.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements covering pricing, service levels, inventory programs, payment terms, warranties, and related business conditions.
• Optimize MRO inventory and operational performance with plant teams by improving spare parts strategies, reducing obsolete inventory, and enhancing working capital.
• Manage more than $150 million in annual spend, support critical purchase orders, deliver savings targets, and collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, project management, engineering procurement, or CAPEX procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Ability to work on-site in Highland Heights, Kentucky, United States.
