SAP Basis Consultant (SAP RISE & SAP HANA)

Location: Mansfield, Lowell, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home each week.

What you will do

• Manage the SAP platform strategy, roadmap, and operations across ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, BI, integration components, and related tools.
• Lead SAP Basis and platform teams, including offshore or distributed delivery models.
• Administer SAP environments, including system copies, client strategy, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring, and backup and restore.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery capabilities across SAP infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security and audit teams on SAP security and authorizations.

Requirements

• 15+ years of SAP experience with a strong background in SAP Basis and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition.
• Understanding of SAP roles and responsibilities, hyperscaler infrastructure, and the shared responsibility model.
• Proven experience leading SAP Basis or platform teams, including offshore or distributed delivery models.
• Deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, including system copies, client strategy, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring tools, backup and restore, and high availability/disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP security and authorization concepts.
