IT Systems and Process Professional (Manufacturing)

Location: Westminster, South Carolina, United States. Full-time onsite role working across office and manufacturing-floor settings; occasional domestic and international travel may be required. The role includes access to production equipment and industrial work areas and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, configure, and upgrade manufacturing applications, systems, infrastructure, and industrial technology.
• Provide hands-on support for production, engineering, office technology, operational systems, and business systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across networks, servers, virtualization platforms, databases, cloud technologies, and industrial systems.
• Lead the local implementation of global IT and digital manufacturing projects in partnership with production engineers, process owners, managers, and business leaders.
• Develop system documentation, backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and technology roadmaps; deliver user training and knowledge transfer.
• Drive data-informed continuous improvement, technology optimization, reliability, security, sustainability, and compliance with hirify.global standards and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

Requirements

• Practical, resourceful problem-solving skills and the ability to work in both technical and manufacturing environments.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, organized, results-focused, and committed to reliable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments and production or engineering systems support.
• Experience with CNC equipment and machine automation, MES, OEE, HMI, or SCADA technologies.
• Experience with industrial networking, control-system integration, enterprise networking, Windows clients and servers, Microsoft SQL Server, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-based solutions, backup, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; an associate degree with relevant experience or equivalent industrial IT experience may be considered.
