Senior Solutions Engineer (Storage)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the Seattle, Washington metro area and support customers and partners across the United States.

Target OTE salary: $197,200–$255,200 per year, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for enterprise accounts across the territory.
• Partner with Enterprise Client Executives to build strategy, develop pipeline, and close business.
• Build relationships with channel partners and partner SEs through co-selling, co-strategy, and joint execution.
• Lead discovery sessions to identify business challenges, technical gaps, and future-state goals.
• Architect and configure hirify.global solutions across ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, and data protection environments.
• Support new-logo and strategic enterprise opportunities, protect-and-expand motions, AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or systems engineering in a quota-driven environment.
• Proven success supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex sales cycles.
• Strong infrastructure technology background, with essential experience in storage and storage-adjacent solutions.
• Deep knowledge of on-premises SAN, NAS, block, and file environments and their integration into broader architectures.
• Experience designing and configuring solutions in customer environments and translating requirements into deployable outcomes.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, virtualization platforms, and data protection or disaster recovery strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously across different stages, priorities, and customer types.
• Experience working with channel partners, including partner SE alignment and joint execution.
• Strong discovery, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Ability to think strategically while executing tactically and design for immediate impact and long-term growth.
• Must be based in the designated Seattle metropolitan area and able to support customers and partners in the territory.
