Senior Business Information Management Specialist (Data & Analytics)

Location: Remote, with the role located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America; occasional domestic travel is required.

Salary: $115,440–$173,160 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise data management initiatives for U.S. Credit Risk data and governed artifacts.
• Support criticality tiering, Critical Data Element identification, data supply chain lineage, and data management control evaluations.
• Design and develop data repositories, warehouses, marts, data movement, data mapping, transformation, and integration processes.
• Support reporting, business intelligence, data preparation frameworks, data modeling, and data solutions used by business and data science teams.
• Identify data lineage, data quality, and control gaps; coordinate remediation plans and maintain compliance evidence, inventories, and status reporting.
• Partner with data owners, stewards, technology teams, upstream providers, project managers, and business leaders to implement scalable solutions and controls.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific, or financial background.
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
• Expert knowledge of business and technical environments, tools, processes, procedures, and related organizational areas.
• Strong development background combined with experience in big data technologies, database technologies, data integration tools, production support, and business acumen.
• Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, and technologies used to prepare summaries and reports.
• Experience with data management, governance, quality, lineage, controls, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Ability to analyze complex data flows and translate requirements into practical documentation and controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, collaboration, stakeholder-management, planning, prioritization, and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle confidential information with discretion, mentor and coach others, and advise senior leadership.
• Financial services, credit risk, regulatory, or risk-data experience is preferred.
