Database Analyst Senior (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and drive global data strategy within the Enterprise Big Data Solutions team.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and increase value through data, analytics, and technology.
• Capture requirements and guide development teams through end-to-end data product delivery from requirements to signoff.
• Identify and develop improvements to analytical and data solutions using industry best practices.
• Contribute to troubleshooting data requirements, data modelling, data quality, and data governance issues.
• Support key projects and programmes while maintaining the quality of individual and team deliverables.

Requirements

• Strong technical and development skills with the ability to work hands-on.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data-industry tools, languages, and products, including SSMS/SSIS and Oracle database design.
• Extensive experience capturing and translating complex business requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, including adapting results to the audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt with a positive attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience using Salesforce to manage client activity and maintain accurate, compliant records.
• Background in payments, fintech, or a client-facing commercial role.
• Experience using data or insights to improve client performance, retention, or growth.
