Associate, Data Management & Analytics Professional (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility, varying by business area.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 base salary annually; eligible for a discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Support compliant data delivery by embedding governance, quality, lineage, protection, reporting, and control requirements into data solution design and implementation.
• Support adoption of VISTA, Collibra, SODA, and other data governance and analytics platforms.
• Use analytics and automation to identify trends, control gaps, data-quality issues, and process-improvement opportunities.
• Build progress monitoring through metrics, dashboards, heatmaps, risk indicators, and management reporting.
• Maintain documentation for audit readiness, including requirements, decisions, controls, evidence, risks, issues, and remediation activities.
• Advise the data community on compliance by design and assist with presentations, training materials, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in data transformation, program delivery, change execution, or regulatory-driven initiatives within financial services.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, controls, auditability, and compliant data delivery across the data lifecycle.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities and translate business and control requirements into scalable, practical, and measurable solutions.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision, including identifying, managing, and controlling project-related changes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and drive initiatives across complex, cross-functional environments.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts, formulate plans or policies, request actions, and provide technical guidance when required.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to build trust as a reliable data-community advisor.

Nice to have

• Understanding and experience in wholesale banking business, operations, or IT.
• Experience in risk or internal control management.
• Experience with Collibra, Informatica, or Azure-native data governance services.
