Vice President, Solution Architecture (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States; remote position with 25%–50% travel between prospects, clients, and sales engagements.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global Solution Architecture team across pre-sales engineering and post-sales architecture supporting the POD model.
• Define solution strategy for Core Consulting and Core Managed Security Services, ensuring offerings are clearly positioned and executable by Delivery.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Delivery, and executive leadership on client engagement, technical presentations, deal structuring, and growth objectives.
• Own the transition from pre-sales through onboarding and POD-led delivery, improving scoping accuracy and time to value.
• Drive RFP/RFI strategy and develop standardized solution frameworks, reference architectures, scoping models, and value propositions.
• Establish KPIs for team performance, win rates, pipeline influence, deal velocity, handoff quality, and client outcomes while improving processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, solution architecture, or sales engineering, including at least 8 years in leadership roles and experience leading other managers.
• Deep understanding of Managed Security Services and Security Consulting, including how they are scoped, sold, and delivered.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, threat detection and response, cloud security, Zero Trust, and AI-enabled security operations.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, and similar compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience leading global teams in high-growth security services organizations.
• Experience partnering with Delivery and Operations leaders to improve scoping, sales handoffs, and client time to value.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise clients across diverse industries and geographies, plus exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
