Location: Remote (US). Must have Public Trust and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Salary: $150,000 - $155,000 a year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and oversee advanced security architectures to protect systems, data, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident responders, and engineering teams to ensure environment resilience.
• Lead secure system design and the integration of controls aligned with NIST and FISMA.
• Ensure the security operations environment is scalable and meets business and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree.
• 5-7 years of experience designing secure system and network architectures for federal agencies.
• Must have Public Trust and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Proven experience with Zero Trust and NIST 800-160.
• Certification in one of the following: CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP, Splunk/SIEM, or AWS/Azure Solutions Architect.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR platforms and endpoint security tools.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Experience designing and implementing detection and response architectures.
