Integrated Logistics Support Analyst (Aircraft & Ships)

Location: Hybrid position at the Mirabel, Canada office; reliable transportation is required because the site is not accessible by public transportation. No travel is required.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, validate, correct, categorize, and analyze operational and maintenance data from military environments.
• Analyze equipment performance, inspections, preventive maintenance, reliability, and fleet activity to identify trends and maintenance issues.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses, reports, and recommendations for clients and technical stakeholders.
• Perform logistics support analyses, including FMECA, RCMA, MSG-3, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, and Sparing Analysis.
• Develop practical, cost-effective recommendations to improve fleet availability and reduce support costs.
• Collaborate with Department of National Defence technical authorities and the Integrated Logistics Support team across aircraft and ship programs, including the CH-146 Griffon and CF-18.

Requirements

• University degree in science or engineering, or a technologist/technician diploma with relevant experience in aeronautical, electrical/electronic, mechanical, or industrial fields.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing, including on technical subjects.
• Demonstrated interest and aptitude for extensive data work, detailed analysis, and ongoing data maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and ability to investigate data to understand underlying causes and trends.
• High autonomy and initiative, with the ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to translate ideas and analysis into practical actions and recommendations.
• Ability to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program and, where applicable, ITAR requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status and Level II (Secret) security clearance.

Nice to have

• Ability to communicate effectively in French, orally and in writing, including on technical subjects.
• Experience as a Canadian Armed Forces technician.
• Knowledge of military aircraft or ship fleets and Department of National Defence operations.
• Knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Management Information System.
• Experience with military, aircraft, ship, maintenance, reliability, or logistics data.
• Familiarity with FMECA, RCMA, MSG-3, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, or Sparing Analysis.
