Manager, Supply Chain (Animal Health)

Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada; onsite role. Travel requirements: 10%. No relocation. Visa sponsorship: not available.

Base salary: $98,560–$147,840 CAD per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead integrated site supply planning, aligning customer demand, capacity, inventory, materials, and manufacturing schedules.
• Own material planning and ordering, identify supply risks, and coordinate mitigation and recovery plans with Procurement.
• Lead cross-functional supply governance and Sales and Operations Planning, including allocation, production priorities, inventory targets, budgets, capacity, and recovery decisions.
• Oversee warehousing, shipping, receiving, material movement, inventory control, packaging, and visual inspection operations.
• Provide quality-system leadership across training, qualification, documentation, deviation investigations, CAPA, change controls, inspection readiness, continuous improvement, and applicable GMP, quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead business continuity, product-launch and transition readiness, performance improvement, cargo security coordination, and development of a 9–12-person Supply Chain team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of supply chain experience and minimum three years of people-leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, inventory, warehousing, logistics, supply chain processes, and inventory and cost stewardship.
• Proven ability to translate demand and operational constraints into executable plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence across functions and provide quality-system leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, animal health, biotechnology, medical-device, food, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
• Experience collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Regulatory, Finance, and other business functions.
• Experience with GMP and regulated logistics or distribution practices.
• Experience with enterprise planning and ERP systems, including SAP.
• APICS certification.
