Sourcing Specialist

Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Support end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including category analysis, supplier due diligence, RFx planning and execution, contract negotiations, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
• Support Source-to-Pay transformation and continuous improvement across professional services, marketing, events, contingent workforce, facilities, HR, legal, travel, and other corporate services.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis, benchmark categories, and identify relevant industry trends.
• Communicate and support education and training initiatives for stakeholders on Source-to-Pay processes, policies, and programs.
• Monitor policy compliance, track non-compliant issues, and support mitigation and resolution.
• Maintain accurate records in the Global Sourcing and Contract Management repository.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of strategic sourcing and category management experience. Previous procurement administration experience is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
• Customer-service focus, strong teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Global mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce, or equivalent professional experience.
• PC skills, including knowledge of accounting or workflow systems and Microsoft Office.
