DevOps Engineer I

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $85,900.00–$107,400.00 base compensation per year, plus potential bonus or variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Collaborate with and support software product teams in an Agile development environment.
• Implement, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Support infrastructure used for critical day-to-day R&D operations.
• Manage GitHub repositories, access rights, organizational DevOps policies, and the DevOps toolchain supporting the SDLC.
• Improve developer experience and R&D operational processes.
• Monitor infrastructure and services, investigate relevant technologies, and improve daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of coding and scripting knowledge in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong ownership, accountability, task ownership, and self-starter mindset.
• Excellent team collaboration skills and a good understanding of IT infrastructure components.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Systems and enterprise thinking, with an understanding of DevOps culture.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with source control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Git.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud.
• Experience with container architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes.
