Senior Azure DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure/AWS)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation across Azure and AWS using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Design and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines, automating build, testing, deployment, release processes, quality gates, validations, compliance controls, and self-service capabilities.
• Support and optimize Azure services including AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Support AWS workloads and services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, and SQS, including hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud integrations.
• Implement DevSecOps controls, security scanning, vulnerability assessments, policy validation, and secure development lifecycle practices for insurance and financial services environments.
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, production support, operational documentation, and continuous modernization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines, including 5+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps administration and implementation experience.
• Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise with Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting Azure cloud services and cloud-native applications, and implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to independently own the DevOps function, manage transitions, and support multiple delivery teams.

Nice to have

• AWS production cloud environment experience, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps programs and security automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Azure and/or AWS certifications.
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, or self-service cloud capabilities.
