Technical Project Manager, MarTech

Location: Hybrid, New York, NY (Lower Manhattan area); must be able to work on Blend’s W2 without sponsorship.

Salary: $75–80 per hour.

What you will do

• Coordinate planning and execution for marketing technology, customer data, platform modernization, migration, and data activation initiatives.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors across multiple delivery workstreams.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, dashboards, status reports, and RAID logs while tracking risks, blockers, and escalations.
• Establish project governance, facilitate steering committees, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings, and document decisions.
• Coordinate activities involving cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, including implementation milestones and dependencies.
• Maintain Confluence spaces and project documentation, ensuring knowledge, processes, guides, and reporting remain accurate and accessible.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in project management, program delivery, marketing technology, data platform initiatives, or a related field, including complex cross-functional projects in large enterprise organizations.
• Experience coordinating business and technology stakeholders, vendors, and multiple delivery workstreams.
• Experience with data platform modernization, migration, customer data, or marketing technology initiatives.
• Practical knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, including their dependencies and delivery considerations.
• Familiarity with first-, second-, and third-party datasets and their use in customer data or marketing environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban, as well as Waterfall or stage-gate delivery approaches.
• Experience managing hybrid project environments with iterative development, fixed deadlines, multiple approvals, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience with project plans, dashboards, milestone trackers, status reports, RAID logs, project governance, risk management, issue escalation, and delivery tracking.
• Familiarity with Confluence or similar documentation tools, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to explain technical topics in business-friendly language.
• Ability to facilitate governance forums and project reviews, manage ambiguity and competing priorities, identify risks, resolve blockers, and drive accountability in a complex matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
