Project Manager (Digital Transformation)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside in Alabama, California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia. Availability during core business hours is required, with occasional travel to client sites or company meetings.

Salary: $120,588–$195,955 annual range; hiring range of $120,588–$130,000, plus discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day delivery across strategists, writers, designers, and engineers for a large-scale digital transformation and content migration effort.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and review cycles while resolving blockers and maintaining delivery momentum.
• Manage project plans, sprint commitments, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, approval gates, risks, and mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate content strategy, information architecture, UX, content migration, technical implementation, quality assurance, and launch activities.
• Maintain status reports, decision logs, risk tracking, project documentation, versioning, and delivery visibility for client stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, support continuous improvement, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to customer satisfaction, account growth, and retention.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of project management experience in an industry relevant to large-scale digital transformation, website modernization, or content migration initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or three additional years of equivalent related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven expertise managing large-scale, enterprise-wide content migrations using an Agile framework.
• Experience leading day-to-day delivery across cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience managing project plans, roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies in complex delivery environments.
• Ability to coordinate client stakeholders and subject matter experts through review, feedback, decision-making, and approval cycles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, project meetings, stakeholder working sessions, and regular delivery/status reporting.
• Strong ability to identify and communicate delivery risks, blockers, scope changes, and timeline impacts and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
• Clear, accurate, and transparent project documentation skills; exceptional organizational, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies against fixed milestones and deadlines, with availability during core business hours.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to clear a background check before starting.

Nice to have

• Experience managing a Drupal migration or Drupal-based website modernization.
• Experience delivering digital transformation, website modernization, or content migration projects for government or public-sector clients.
• Experience with large, complex websites involving significant content inventories, information architecture, content governance, and accessibility requirements.
• Agile or project management certification such as CSM or PMP.
