Project Manager, Marketing (Contract Talent)

Location: Remote, United States of America

Salary: $37.02–$54.81 per hour, negotiable depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Support global portfolio management efforts and lead project and program kick-offs and pre-planning activities.
• Develop project plans, timelines, resource plans, and budgets; manage delivery milestones, outcomes, and project data in project management tools.
• Coordinate planning across enterprise functions and provide strategic alternatives and recommendations to marketing management.
• Guide teams on Agile and Scrum practices, facilitate decisions and conflict resolution, and support self-organizing teams as a ScrumLead when required.
• Document business and technical requirements, process workflows, and system documentation while connecting business objectives with technical execution.
• Manage stakeholders and adapt to ambiguity, change, and a fast-paced matrix environment with ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline.
• Proven experience leading project planning for a large organization.
• 5–7 years of marketing experience and 5–7 years of project leadership and/or project management experience.
• At least one year of experience serving as a ScrumLead for a software development team practicing Scrum principles.
• Exceptional project and program management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to think critically and strategically about complex information.
• Results-oriented mindset, strong sense of urgency and personal motivation, and the ability to remain effective in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, situational awareness, influencing, team empowerment, and transparency-building skills.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, XP, Crystal, and FDD; knowledge of burndown methodologies, retrospectives, and defect handling.
