Implementation Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Remote, US; candidates must live in Texas and close to a major airport. Regional travel throughout Texas is required, with up to 60% travel during the back-to-school season and up to 40% during the remainder of the year.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders of mid-size Texas school districts to support successful IXL implementation.
• Create and implement professional development plans with school and district partners.
• Deliver live and virtual professional development for teachers and administrators.
• Analyze implementation and usage data to guide decisions and plan next steps.
• Travel to assigned districts for in-person training and quarterly visits.
• Partner with Sales to manage and grow customer relationships, including pilots and pre-sales opportunities.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• 5+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting; experience in instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech professional development is strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing professional development.
• Experience supporting district implementations is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional presentation skills and comfort presenting to teachers and administrators.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a dynamic, enthusiastic, positive, and collaborative approach.
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks from start to finish.
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology.
• Strategic thinker and problem-solver.
• Must live close to a major airport and be able to travel throughout Texas.
