Professional Learning Specialist (Education Technology)

Location: Hybrid role based in the greater Los Angeles, California area with onsite district work required; travel within the designated territory is required up to 70%, including overnight stays. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Salary: $60,750–$99,750 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver targeted professional development to teachers, coaches, and district and site leaders on implementing Ready and i-Ready programs.
• Provide tailored onsite classroom support, including lesson planning, pacing guidance, data analysis, and application of data to instruction.
• Support district-wide adoption and implementation of Ready and i-Ready products, monitoring program integrity and identifying implementation successes and challenges.
• Collaborate with district and site leaders to develop and revise annual professional development plans and schedules.
• Work with teachers, students, school districts, and the Sales team across large stakeholder groups.
• Attend relevant educational conferences and participate in company-provided professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development.
• Fluency using digital tools, including online assessments, and comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
• Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and ensure the integrity of program implementations.
• Ability to provide high-quality classroom coaching so teachers can effectively deliver hirify.global solutions.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory and attend company meetings several times throughout the year.
• Strong working knowledge of California State Standards for Mathematics/ELA for grades K–8, or comparable state standards, and/or Next Generation Science Standards, including content and practice standards.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a background check.
