ServiceNow Platform Architect (ServiceNow)

Location: Fully remote from Spain or Portugal; role listing associated with Lisbon, Portugal.

What you will do

• Configure and customise ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, applications, forms, reports, and dashboards.
• Design and optimise workflows, Flow Designer flows, Service Catalog processes, and ITIL-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain Service Portal components using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and web technologies.
• Implement integrations with external systems through REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, and JDBC.
• Manage Import Sets, Transform Maps, CMDB integrity, and CSDM compliance.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts, support testing and releases, document solutions, and provide second- and third-level support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and implementation experience across multiple modules.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Strong JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and general web technology skills.
• Implementation experience in at least one major ServiceNow suite: ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or SecOps-SIR.
• Experience with CMDB, CSDM, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Experience implementing and supporting REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, and JDBC integrations.
• Strong understanding of ITSM principles and ITIL best practices.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies for platform development and release management.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) or one or more CIS certifications, including CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITAM, or CIS-SIR.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP, Azure, Active Directory, Teams, Snowflake, or Power BI.
• Spanish language skills.
