Power Platform / D365 Solution Architect (AI)

Location: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh, Belfast, England, United Kingdom; flexible/remote working available. SC clearance eligibility requires five years of address history in the UK.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE.
• Lead development teams through planning, estimation, development, implementation, and application lifecycle management.
• Design integrations between Microsoft platforms and external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party solutions.
• Customise solutions with workflows, plugins, scripts, and appropriate configuration choices.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical designs, configuration documentation, and user guides.
• Conduct customer and technical workshops, training, code reviews, mentoring, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading the design and development of enterprise-scale solutions using Power Platform, including Canvas, Model-driven apps, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio, plus Dynamics 365 CE.
• Experience with associated application lifecycle management strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience customising Power Platform and Dynamics 365 using Power Automate workflows, .NET plugins, and JavaScript.
• Experience architecting and delivering integrations between Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and C# for plugins, workflows, and custom integrations.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps teams, including Azure DevOps for CI/CD and backlog or progress tracking.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements and experience with testing strategies and tools for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise directly with customers to gather and refine requirements.
• Eligibility for SC clearance with five years of UK address history.
• Knowledge of architectural modelling tools and frameworks such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar enterprise architecture methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Agents, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
• UI/UX and accessibility-focused solution design experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power BI.
• Experience delivering implementations through Success by Design or Power Platform Well-Architected.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, AB-100, AI-102, AI-900, PL-200, PL-500, AZ-900, DP-600, or equivalent certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, Data, and AI.
