Sr. Technical Accountant (CPA Required)

Location: Remote; U.S.-focused role

Salary: $86,900–$130,200 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

Physician-led and physician-owned radiology practice providing healthcare services to hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and referring physicians across the United States.

What you will do

• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP, SEC guidance, and emerging accounting standards.
• Prepare audit-ready technical accounting memoranda and supporting documentation.
• Analyze and document complex transactions, including business combinations, acquisitions, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, consolidations, goodwill and intangible assets, debt and equity transactions, foreign currency, and software capitalization.
• Address technical accounting matters involving risk management, self-insurance, medical malpractice liabilities, and physician compensation programs.
• Partner with Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Operations, Corporate Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, and external auditors.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting, disclosures, standard implementations, due diligence, purchase accounting, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, accounting research methodologies, and financial statement disclosures.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent, plus Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, project management, organization, and collaboration skills.
• High professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex accounting guidance into practical business solutions.

• Advanced degree or additional accounting education.
