Senior Accountant (AI)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $120,000–$157,000 annually for Tier 1; $108,000–$141,000 for Tier 2; $96,000–$126,000 for Tier 3. Offers equity.

What you will do

• Own key month-end close areas, including stock-based compensation, leases, investments, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Lead revenue accounting through customer contract reviews, automated revenue schedules, journal entries, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, year-end financial statements, footnote disclosures, and audit schedules.
• Optimize Rillet and design automated, AI-assisted close workflows.
• Document processes, strengthen internal controls, and partner with FP&A, Billing, People, AP, and other teams on accounting analysis.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting audit experience, preferably Big Four, or equivalent experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency through reconciliations, variance analysis, or automation of repetitive tasks.
• Clear communication, ownership, process improvement skills, and comfort in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SOX and internal controls in a public or public-company-ready environment.
• Experience with Rillet, NetSuite, or another modern ERP.
• SaaS or usage-based revenue experience.
• Experience designing or implementing AI-assisted or automated accounting workflows.
