Product Manager (Insurance)

Location: Liverpool City Centre, UK, on a hybrid working basis; 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: up to £60,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Define and execute the product strategy for the digital motorcycle proposition and Streetcover specialist insurance product.
• Lead a cross-functional technology squad working with developers, UX specialists, business stakeholders, P&L leads, and senior leadership.
• Establish the squad, set priorities, manage the product backlog, define roadmaps, and lead product discovery.
• Use customer insight, data, research, market analysis, and competitor analysis to improve conversion, engagement, retention, and customer experience.
• Balance customer needs, commercial objectives, operational improvements, regulatory requirements, and growth initiatives.
• Track and communicate progress, align stakeholders, and lead initiatives from idea through launch and optimisation.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Product Manager, ideally in digital, technology, or software-based environments.
• Proven experience owning and developing digital products from discovery through delivery and optimisation.
• Strong Agile delivery experience, including backlog management, prioritisation, roadmap planning, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Experience analysing customer behaviour, product performance, and data to support product decisions.
• Strong execution and delivery focus, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
• Experience working where product roadmaps are influenced by customer needs, business priorities, operational requirements, and commercial objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in insurance or financial services, particularly understanding motorcycle products.
