Claim Team Mgr - WCCS Deployed (Weather Catastrophe Claims Services)

Location: United States; selected candidates must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, or West Virginia. Candidates outside these areas must be willing to relocate at their own expense. This is a deployable role requiring extensive travel throughout the U.S., flexible shifts, overtime, and irregular hours when needed.

Salary: Potential starting salary of $107,000–$142,000 per year, based on skills, background, and experience; significant relevant experience is required for the top of the range. Potential yearly incentive pay is up to 24% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead assigned claims personnel through hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and salary activities.
• Manage homeowners, commercial, and large-loss claims related to natural disasters and weather events.
• Review and control investigations, claim payments, and adjustment expense payments.
• Coordinate and implement company programs, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and legal requirements.
• Promote employee development within an inclusive environment while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Requirements

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors, including customer-focused decision-making, candidly addressing challenges, inspiring people toward shared goals, ethical conduct, and driving results.
• Physical agility for frequent lifting, carrying, ladder climbing, navigating roofs at various heights for residential and commercial inspections, and crawling in tight spaces.
• Experience with Xactimate and XactContents.
• Valid driver's license required; driving is an essential job function, and a Motor Vehicle Record will be requested during the pre-employment background check.
• Successful completion of required training, applicable proficiency and licensing examinations, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and background checks required by applicable states.
• Residence in one of the specified U.S. states, or willingness to relocate there at the candidate's own expense.
