Master Data Management (MDM) Lead

What you will do

• Author, document, and maintain match rules, thresholds, survivorship logic, golden-record standards, and canonical customer and institution identifiers across CRM, payment, enrollment, and Snowflake systems.
• Define systems of record, attribute ownership, conflict-adjudication rules, and formal entity resolution across business-unit CRM records.
• Partner with data engineering to implement approved standards in production pipelines and independently validate match quality and pipeline output.
• Establish monitoring for match rates, false positives, false negatives, duplicates, orphaned records, and stewardship workflows; direct production-volume remediation.
• Embed master data requirements into implementations, migrations, integrations, vendor proposals, and data acceptance criteria.
• Provide consistently keyed data for analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives; facilitate governance decisions and report progress to the Director and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in master data management, data quality, data engineering, or related data management roles.
• Demonstrated experience authoring match rules, thresholds, and survivorship logic for customer, account, party, product, or similar master data domains.
• Experience designing identity resolution and golden-record logic across multiple source systems.
• Experience with enterprise CRM data models, including Creatio, Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, including Snowflake or comparable platforms, and SQL proficiency for profiling, match testing, and validation.
• Experience producing governance documentation that business owners, auditors, and external partners can use without further interpretation.

Nice to have

• Professional certification related to data management or master data management, such as DAMA CDMP.
• Experience supporting system migrations, consolidations, or platform implementations from a master data or data governance perspective.
• Experience in a multi-brand or multi-entity organization where the same customer exists across multiple business-unit systems.
• Experience with MDM tooling, match-and-merge engines, and data catalog platforms such as Atlan.
• Experience overseeing external implementation vendors or contractors on data migration or identity-resolution scope.
