Business Systems Analyst Consultant (Fintech)

Location: In-office in Birmingham, AL; Strongsville, OH; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; or Dallas, TX, United States.

Base salary: $75,000–$137,500 per year, plus incentive-eligible compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and system workflows.
• Translate business needs into actionable system requirements while considering data, process, and technology constraints.
• Support solution design by validating requirements, identifying dependencies, and ensuring alignment with downstream systems and enterprise standards.
• Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, and technology delivery teams.
• Facilitate working sessions, requirement reviews, and walkthroughs across sales-focused and process-focused groups.
• Identify, evaluate, and configure cost-effective systems; monitor client feedback and support process improvement and system productivity.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, with 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered instead of a degree.
• Business analysis, requirements gathering, requirements analysis, systems analysis, and business process modeling.
• Solutions design, software development, software development life cycle, and enterprise resource planning knowledge.
• Workflow analysis, IT environment knowledge, IT project management, and technical writing/documentation.
• Client management, consulting, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to provide senior-level consulting and analyze, define, and document client requirements.
• Ability to work in an in-office environment in one of the listed United States locations.
