Senior Financial Analyst (SaaS)

What you will do

• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast results, and support strategic decisions.
• Partner with operational leaders to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes.
• Analyze recurring revenue, labor costs, productivity, utilization, and profitability KPIs.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Improve reporting, forecasting, data quality, analytical tools, and workflow automation while supporting strategic and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in a SaaS business, including recurring revenue models, ARR, revenue growth drivers, and SaaS performance metrics.
• Experience in a private equity-backed company, including understanding of PE reporting expectations, financial accountability, and operating cadence.
• Experience preparing monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Initiative, intellectual curiosity, ownership of projects, and the ability to drive projects to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with senior management and other company stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or similar service-oriented businesses.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for financial analysis, modeling, reporting, research, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools.
