Senior Financial Analyst

Location: United States; remote eligible, with occasional travel between retail stores, offices, worksites, or other locations as needed.

Salary: $89,265–$148,180 annually.

What you will do

• Own or support annual and multi-year planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and outlooks for assigned business areas.
• Build, maintain, enhance, and automate financial and driver-based models, including sensitivity and scenario analyses.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, performance narratives, and insights on revenue, COGS, and Opex trends.
• Translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations for finance leaders, business partners, and senior executives.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to validate assumptions, reconcile actuals, resolve data issues, and maintain financial consistency.
• Lead improvements to finance tools, reporting frameworks, workflows, standards, data quality, and automation, including adoption of AI tools.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance, or a related field; relevant work experience and/or education may substitute for the required years on a year-for-year basis.
• At least two years of financial modeling experience.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAP and their application in financial modeling and analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, dynamic charts, macros, and task automation.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and P&L/EBITDA drivers.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights, narratives, presentations, and decision-ready recommendations; build dashboards and visuals; and ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to work with finance systems, analytics platforms, planning tools, and standard MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise judgment, lead complex processes, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work in a standard office or home-office setting, work assigned shifts and additional hours when necessary, use reliable transportation for occasional travel, and comply with remote-work policies.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• CPA or CFA certification.
• Knowledge of Oracle or an equivalent accounting system.
• Telecommunications experience.
• Relevant telecommunications industry or job-specific certifications.
