Senior FP&A Business Partner (SaaS)

Location: Remote, United States; must be based in the United States within the Eastern Time Zone

Ultimo, an hirify.global company, provides SaaS Enterprise Asset Management software and operates with FSI across North America, supported by an international Finance team spanning Europe, North America, and Sri Lanka.

What you will do

• Lead forecasting and annual budgeting for North America across Ultimo and FSI, including the 2027 budgeting process.
• Build project-level reporting and improve visibility into project margins and services revenue recognition.
• Drive utilization, capacity, and resource planning for the services organization.
• Analyze monthly revenue, ARR, gross margin, services margin, and operating costs to produce actionable business insight.
• Partner with North American leadership, Sales, and Services on pricing, hiring, investment, and other business decisions.
• Identify and apply practical AI and automation opportunities to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of Finance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering, ideally within SaaS and/or professional services.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to move from detailed project economics to executive-level discussions.
• Must be based in the United States within the Eastern Time Zone to support real-time collaboration with North American leadership and the European Finance team.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modeling, analysis, and data handling.
• Strong understanding of professional services economics, including revenue recognition, utilization, and margin drivers.
• Ability to work independently, challenge assumptions, and turn analysis into action.
• Curiosity about AI and automation and interest in applying new tools to scale and strengthen FP&A.
