Talent Sourcer (AI)

Location: Remote-first; compensation listed for Canada and all US states. Offices are available in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, and Seoul.

Salary: California, New York, and Washington States: $105,000–$150,000; all other US states: $95,000–$135,000; Canada: $140,000–$195,000, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build, own, and nurture pipelines of technical talent across Engineering and Research roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and talent partners to identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing methods.
• Deliver a high-quality recruiting experience aligned with Cohere's premium brand.
• Maintain market intelligence on talent trends and the competitive landscape.
• Manage recruiting funnels in the ATS and regularly update progress and analytics.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies, cultivate industry networks, and lead additional high-impact talent projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience sourcing for technical Engineering and Research roles across markets such as EMEA and the US.
• Proven experience sourcing candidates in high-growth, high-bar environments; startup, technology, or AI experience is strongly preferred.
• An established, high-profile network in business communities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to use data and analytics to guide sourcing decisions and measure effectiveness.
