Program Manager, Credentialing (Fintech)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements. Travel may be required, and extended hours may be necessary.

Salary: $112,300–$202,500 annually for Rockville, MD. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, education, and market considerations.

What you will do

• Execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned credentialing programs, including maintaining qualifications, exam validity extensions, academic outreach, and client-owned qualification programs.
• Manage day-to-day program operations, scope, dependencies, deliverables, communications, marketing efforts, and program improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, clients, regulators, and other industry stakeholders.
• Track program status and outcomes, prepare reports, and facilitate project prioritization discussions for annual roadmaps.
• Manage test development and delivery services for clients, including meetings, issue communications, and responses to inquiries.
• Escalate novel issues, propose resolutions, and mitigate risks that could affect program delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in the securities or financial industry and/or program management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and technical skills in project management, including managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting tight deadlines across areas with different requirements.
• Knowledge of and experience with the regulation and operation of U.S. broker-dealers, plus familiarity with the broader financial regulatory landscape.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills, including the ability to articulate highly complex matters effectively.
• Critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to recognize and understand relationships and impacts between different regulatory areas.
• Ability to collaborate in person and virtually in support of hirify.global’s mission.
