Program Manager (Banking Change Management)

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annually, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead planning, direction, coordination, scheduling, pricing, technical performance, and governance for technology and business programs and projects.
• Establish scope, deliverables, budgets, schedules, business outcomes, success measures, and stakeholder expectations with business managers and sponsors.
• Integrate change management into program planning and execution, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and adoption.
• Assess impacts of changes to technology, processes, products, roles, and ways of working, and develop strategies to address them.
• Align stakeholders, clarify ownership, surface decisions and risks, and resolve issues, dependencies, and downstream impacts.
• Translate complex program information into clear communications and recommendations for executives, leaders, partners, and impacted employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of related banking experience in financial services, program management, project management, or change management.
• Strong program and project leadership experience, including large, cross-functional information technology programs and projects with established change management frameworks or methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain project risks, issues, and IT concepts clearly to multiple levels of peers and leadership.
• Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead through uncertainty, ambiguity, and change; initiate and facilitate change driven by corporate, market, or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services and change management, including leading complex organizational and business change.
• Experience with structured change management practices such as stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, communications, training, business readiness, and adoption.
• Experience with portfolio project management tools and creating and tracking schedules in MS Excel or MS Project.
• Understanding of Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, or Scrum project lifecycle methodologies and change management processes and standards.
• Strong business and technology aptitude, including understanding how technology, process, organizational, and customer changes intersect.
• Willingness to learn and understand detailed software solutions.
