Senior Quality Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: New York City, New York; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Other listed locations include Menlo Park, California, Bellevue, Washington, Washington, DC, Denver, Colorado, Westlake, Texas, Chicago, Illinois, Lake Mary, Florida, Clearwater, Florida, and Gainesville, Florida.

Base pay for Zone 1 locations, including New York, NY and Menlo Park, CA: $179,000–$210,000 USD annually. Additional bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Own quality for new features through test planning, execution, and feedback across the development cycle.
• Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including frontend and backend validation.
• Perform manual and automated end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and Web applications.
• Automate mobile and web end-to-end test cases.
• Build functional, regression, and exploratory test coverage that reflects the user experience.
• Partner with the contractor team on regression test cycles and collaborate cross-functionally on product quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience testing mobile iOS/Android and web applications in fast-paced product environments.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira and test case management tools such as TestRail.
• Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset.
