Senior Specialist, Site EHS

Location: Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; Kaohsiung Science Park; responsible for the Kaohsiung plant

hirify.global operates the Kaohsiung plant and its EHS function within the site management team.

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve the EHS program to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and hirify.global EHS requirements.
• Lead ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management operations, including EHS documentation, goals and KPIs, communications, committee activities, and regulatory compliance identification.
• Lead incident management and parallel investigations, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Conduct safety and health inspections, contractor work audits, equipment safety inspections, and job safety observations.
• Support plant safety and health management, statutory education and training, and improvements to safety culture, awareness, and accountability.
• Work with the EHS department and site management team to identify, prevent, and resolve EHS issues; report to the KSP EHS Manager.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
• More than 5 years of EHS management experience in factories and cleanrooms.
• Level A Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Management.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, with experience in customer audit compliance.
• Extensive incident handling experience.
• Project management, communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, take a proactive approach, and solve problems.
• Basic written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Level A Certificate in Occupational Hygiene Management.
• Experience in equipment safety management and loss control and prevention management.
