Manager Manufacturing Test Engineer-APAC (Manufacturing Test Engineering)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; hybrid work with adaptable hours.

What you will do

• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of manufacturing and test strategies across APAC manufacturing partners and distribution centers.
• Manage departmental budgets, including capital expenditures, hardware, software, and personnel requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma to improve productivity, workflow, on-time performance, quality, scrap levels, costs, and cycle times.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of automation, digitalization, robotics, and other Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Coordinate manufacturing and test engineering efforts to resolve issues affecting shipment or process performance, and support new product introductions and process transitions.
• Collaborate with design engineering, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams on efficient, sustainable processes, engineering change management, labor and MVA optimization, and technology adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as a technical manager in manufacturing or test engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and test process development.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma implementation and a strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Project management experience and expertise in test solution development, technical analysis, and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of data analytics for problem solving, error detection, and error-proofing techniques.
• Knowledge of robotics for automation and process optimization, factory operations, problem resolution, DMAIC, DIDOV, project payback analysis, and ROIC financial justification.
• Excellent team-building, interpersonal, leadership, and cross-functional management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
