Account Coordinator (Insurance)

What you will do

• Handle urgent and complex service requests for high-revenue customers.
• Consult with customers, carrier partners, account managers, and producers.
• Process policy service items, including certificates of insurance, ID cards, endorsements, and loss runs, in accordance with service-level agreements.
• Assist with new and renewal business processing and administration.
• Perform data entry and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and three to five years of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to learn multiple computer applications.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfort working in a high-volume, production environment.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree and two to three years of insurance agency experience.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred.
