Site Manager Production Center (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead a production center with more than 200 employees, coordinating mechanics, bodywork, external partners, and logistics.
• Plan and run daily operations to achieve high vehicle quality, optimize output, and maintain cost efficiency.
• Scale production capacity from scratch to the desired maximum capacity.
• Build, manage, and improve relationships with the local partner network.
• Align targets and resources with the Berlin headquarters and implement processes on site.
• Build strong teams through onboarding and training, and drive continuous performance improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the automotive industry or a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and managing a large team of at least 80 people, directly and indirectly.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• University degree in business, supply chain management, or a similar field.
• Previous experience optimizing processes and achieving efficiencies through production, logistics, or shop floor operations.

Nice to have

• Experience in rapidly scaling businesses or demonstrated success in a leading position within a ramp-up operation.
