Food Safety Auditor (Contractor) (Food Safety)

Location: Germany, multiple regions; you must live in Germany and be able to travel within assigned regions.

What you will do

• Conduct food safety audits and assessments at quick service restaurant, retail food, catering, hospitality, and food service locations.
• Evaluate compliance with client standards, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Complete audit reports within required timeframes.
• Maintain professional relationships with client site teams.
• Support continuous improvement through objective audit findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Recognised food safety auditing qualification.
• Experience auditing food manufacturing, catering, restaurant, retail food, or hospitality operations.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety management systems.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within assigned regions in Germany.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.

Nice to have

• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience auditing restaurant, QSR, or retail food operations.
• Knowledge of international food safety standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, or equivalent.
