Senior Operations Leader (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York; hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available to new employees.

Salary: $266K–$295K base pay, plus equity and eligible performance-related bonuses.

What you will do

• Establish and own Community & Culture’s integrated operating model, including financial management, resourcing, and operating review tools and workflows.
• Build and manage budgeting, forecasting, spend approval, reporting, investment tradeoff, and resource reallocation processes across central and international teams.
• Define governance, decision rights, approval processes, program ownership, handoffs, and escalation paths.
• Lead workforce and capacity planning across full-time employees, freelancers, and agencies, including hiring and investment recommendations.
• Build agency and vendor operations with Procurement, Legal, and Finance, covering scopes of work, contracts, onboarding, purchase orders, renewals, and measurable outcomes.
• Improve operational execution by establishing metrics for forecast quality, planning reliability, capacity, and follow-through, while anticipating delivery risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or a related discipline, including senior leadership responsibility for a complex, growing organization.
• Successful experience owning budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes, with the judgment to help senior leaders evaluate competing investments and resource needs.
• Experience building governance and ways of working adopted across multiple teams, with improvements in accountability and execution.
• Experience leading workforce and capacity planning across employees, contractors, and agencies, and translating business priorities into staffing decisions.
• Sound judgment in ambiguous situations, with the ability to adapt as priorities change and determine when a problem requires discussion, a decision, or a better process.
• Ability to move between organizational strategy and detailed execution, including operating models, budgets, staffing plans, and implementation.
• Understanding of creative, community, marketing, or other relationship-driven teams.
