Strategy and Operations Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with in-office collaboration Monday through Wednesday. Relocation assistance is offered to new employees.

Salary: $333,000–$370,000 base pay annually, plus equity, performance-related bonuses for eligible employees, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Creative Partnerships leadership to translate priorities into clear plans, decisions, operating rhythms, and follow-through.
• Design and run planning cycles, business reviews, leadership meetings, decision forums, offsites, and cross-functional communications.
• Maintain visibility into priorities, portfolios, commitments, dependencies, capacity, budgets, headcount, partnerships, and risks.
• Lead prioritization, annual and half-year planning, goal setting, roadmap development, organizational planning, and resource requests.
• Develop financial scenarios and analyses covering costs, expected value, staffing, budgets, allocations, forecasts, and operational implications.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving operating-model design, portfolio management, role clarity, partner strategy, new programs, executive communications, and decision materials.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Strategy and Operations, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, management consulting, or a related strategic operating role in a fast-moving organization.
• Experience serving as a trusted partner to senior leaders, setting priorities, evaluating tradeoffs, communicating decisions, and maintaining organizational alignment.
• Experience building planning processes, leadership cadences, portfolio systems, and operating models from zero to one.
• Ability to translate ambiguous or incomplete inputs into structured recommendations, practical plans, and clear ownership.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from definition through implementation and sustained operations.
• Strong financial and analytical fluency, including budgets, forecasts, investment scenarios, resource allocation, and organizational planning.
• Ability to distill complex information into concise, executive-ready narratives and influence decisions without formal authority.
• Understanding of the people, partners, budgets, and production considerations behind ambitious creative work without needing to set the creative vision.
• AI-native builder mindset with a focus on making planning, reporting, decision-making, and coordination simpler and more useful.
